The Plague is still a pox upon this house, but hopefully we're turning the corner into Wellville. Parie started taking some antibiotics this weekend, and while she's been coughing so much as to have her ribs hurt when she chortles, the infection seems to be subsiding a bit.
Went in to see Dr. Weiss (our baby doc) this morning and while we waited, I was given a golden ticket to see Dr. Guerra (our regular doc), whose schedule had previously been booked. He hooked me up with some drugs and an enhaler for my cough, so hopefully that will do the trick. But as per usual, my office visit with Dr. G was less about medicine and more filled with conversation about Chelsea FC, blogging, and twee music -- a genre I had not heard named before. Here's hoping he makes the Top 296 list next year!
Parie's been napping most of the afternoon. Here's to good health all 'round.
