Meeting Tutu and Tomtom

My Mom and her husband Tom just set foot on the Left Coast this week for their big move to Portland, which brings them much closer for visits to see a certain grandson. They made the Amtrak trek yesterday for a quick glimpse of the little guy before returning back to Portland to deal with the imminent arrival of their cargo from Hawaii. We brought Sofian to them at the Edgewater Hotel last night and today for lunch, and here are some pics from the initial meeting last night.

For their grandparental names, Mom will be going by Tutu, which means Grandmother in Hawaiian. And rather than going by the Hawaiian Tutu Kane for Grandfather, we all thought Tomtom would be a good alternative and a little less confusing.
